While there are portions that are upgradeable (language helpers & additional coloring pictures) it comes with plenty free! The kids delight in both the story as well as the voice of the reader & the actions you can produce! It’s engaging and adorable. Any accidental ordering of upgrades can be blocked with parental controls, but you may want to consider the language upgrades. I really hope this company an developer of this character does additional developing & in doing so can maintain the wonderful quality that I’ve found this has! I downloaded it to my Kindle Fire HD & had no problems. The ages of my audience is 3 to 6 years old. Download it while it’s still a free app! You won’t regret it & it’s sure to be a household favorite!”
